Previously, he served as a director and past treasurer for the Northville Educational Foundation Board, as treasurer for the Friends of the Northville District Library Board, served two terms as a Director for the Eastern Michigan University Alumni Association Board, and one term as a member of the Finance Committee for Meadowbrook Country Club in Northville. Scott and his family are parish members of Our Lady of Good Counsel church in Plymouth and, for fun, he is a Sommelier.
